A lot of Miami visitors and kids especially, don’t mind about 3.5 hrs drive to Orlando to see the worlds famous SeaWorld. SeaWorld is primarily oceanarium, where you can get general idea about life in the ocean in a friendly form. Animals are also used in variety of shows and SeaWorld parks also feature variety of thrill rides.
Orlando SeaWorld opened it’s gates in 1973 and has been opened consecutively up until today. Their favorite show is without doubt Shamu show, introducing wild orcas. Those giant mammals are rare to see in the nature and is it thrilling to see this giant in live action. Blue Horizons, park’s dolphin show, action with dolphins, parrots and people. New sea lion show is very entertaining as well, especially for children.

SeaWorld Orlando

SeaWorld in Orlando is one of the most visited entrainment place in the whole Florida state. Park is divided into different areas, called seas. Each one of them has a different theme and show different animals. Some exhibitions are closed off, just like you know it from the ZOO, but others are very interactive with it’s visitors, especially kids. You can feed the dolphins, touch stingray or turtles.

There is also many attractions and rides, which some are more suitable for young children and some that can entertain adults as well. Best known is probably Kraken, floorless roller coaster that features a total of seven inversions and two vertical loops, a dive loop, a zero-g roll, a cobra roll and corkscrew. This is one of the most fun attractions you will ever try.

SeaWorld shows:

Orlando SeaWorld has 3 main show for it’s audience. In the Sea Lion and Otter Theatre, there is a show that features Clyde and Seamore, a pair of sea lions, that host a comical presentation full of pirates and escapades.
Dolphin show Blue Horizons in The Whale and Dolphin stadium is full on acrobatic performance by both, dolphins and human acrobats and divers. This show is very entertaining and really fun to watch for everybody.
One Ocean is the main show of the whole park. It takes place in Shamu Stadium, home of seven killer whales. This show will leave you speechless, the size of the orcas will amaze you and you will also have to admit the bravery of the trainers to perform such a performance with animals like this. Kids will love to sit in the splash zone of the stadium, where you will get drenched top to bottom.

Admission to the park:

There is several ways how to approach this, you can buy a day ticket, which is really the worst deal there. But if you’re a family who is in the area for a couple of days, you can certainly save good amount of money by buying week or one of he family passes for unlimited admission.
