Kennedy Space Centre is NASA facility, that supports Launch Complex 39. This launchpad was used to send Saturn and Apollo projects to the space. Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is part of it and it features exhibits of historic spacecraft and memorabilia. There are 2 IMAX theaters, several shows and range of bus tours.
It all started in 1960’s in the small trailer with a small exhibit. But due to massive public interest Kennedy Space Centre decided to build a full scale visitor complex. It’s firs year, this complex hosted 500 000 visitors. Nowadays, it is a fifth most visited attraction in Florida.

Kennedy Visitor complex has a several parts, each dedicated to a different theme or NASA project. Also, included in the base admission, there is a free transportation to an observation platform at Launch Complex 39.

Attractions:

US Astronaut Hall of Fame – Contains largest collection of US astronaut’s personal memorabilia.
Rocket Garden – Is an outdoor display of historic rockets that helped Americans to get to space. You can walk around and see from a close distance, the magnificent invention of human kind.
Apollo – Saturn V Centre – Is accessible by bus and include display of Apollo command module and also Lunar module. You can see a moon rock and other interesting pieces from Apollo Space Mission.
Space Shuttle Atlantis – You can see a retired spaceship Atlantis, which served well for 33 space missions.
Shuttle Launch Experience – This attraction will put you i a seat of a space shuttle and you will experience start of this rocket into space.
Space Mirror Memorial – This is a memorial to those astronauts, who served NASA and died in the line of duty.
